“My art is about imploring the viewer to embrace the experience and really feel all of the endless possibilities of what the art can be, and create within the individual.”

Artist + activist = Artivist

Ang is recognised for her gestural and action painting techniques which illuminate her vibrant and introspective works, offering insights into mood, emotion, and the intricate tapestry of life. In an uncertain world, Ang finds hope and meaning in every piece she creates, weaving together her personal journey, mental health struggles, and experiences as a psychologist, Mother, wife and creative. Her profound insights into the human psyche, coupled with her commitment to community and shared knowledge, resonate deeply with audiences, inspiring courage, wisdom, and hope.

Anghart holds a Master's of Creative Industries (MCI) with a focus on interdisciplinary visual arts practice. Her latest research “Rising from the Dust: (in)visible Women in Mining” explores the issues women face in the mining industry depicted by 12 portraits.

With a passion for unleashing creativity, Ang Hart has successfully facilitated workshops tailored for diverse age groups, from children to seniors, infusing her unique and quirky artistic style. Leveraging her expertise as an artist and psychologist, Ang creates engaging and transformative experiences that inspire participants to explore their creativity, express themselves, and connect with others on a deeper emotional level. Through her dynamic and inclusive workshops, Ang fosters a supportive environment where individuals can discover their artistic voice, embrace new perspectives, and embark on a journey of personal growth and self-discovery.
